CUSTOMER MARKETING MANAGER

 
Denholm is delighted to be working with Beam Suntory on an exclusive basis on an exciting new opportunity within their Travel Retail business.

Due to strong development and expansion within the team, we are seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Manager who will drive the marketing agenda with the customer, delivering compelling propositions that build brand growth.

You will develop the annual customer marketing plan from the global brand plans and deliver clear customer and brand propositions working with the central team. 

As the key point of contact for the customer for marketing initiatives and the partner for the relevant KAM in managing business performance, you will co-own the P&L and customer deliverables in line with the Key account plan.

You will review activation and promotional effectiveness and recommend actions to improve performance as required as well as reporting on performance against the category to understand if they are winning at the point of sale.

You will also deliver the activation, visibility and promotions plans, ensuring long-term permanent visibility objectives are a focus of the planning process. In addition, you will review activation tools for effectiveness and work with the Channel Manager to enhance or improve engagement and impact.

You will also maintain a good understanding of competitor activity, review and analyse industry data to improve targeting and performance, including passenger data, IWSR, and other industry data.

Ideally, you will be degree educated and bring an entrepreneurial approach to creating innovative solutions and have previous experience of managing and growing categories.

You will have strong analytical skills and an approach that is collaborative and be used to achieving success through others. You will need to bring 5+ years of trade marketing experience and relish a fast moving environment like the world of premium spirits.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have a background working in either the luxury or drinks sector or have extensive experience of the Travel Retail channel. 

Due to the nature of the position, candidates must be based within a commutable distance to London (with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week) and be flexible with regards to travel.
