PR ACCOUNT DIRECTORS

Both PR Account Directors will be first-class PR operators with either agency or in-house experience at a senior level. As well as being commercially-minded -  with the aim of business growth underpinning everything you do -  you’ll be able to develop creative, integrated PR strategies and ensure they are well executed by the team.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Grow fee income and promote 3x1’s portfolio of specialist services through organic growth and new revenue generation
  • People management: provide motivational leadership, overseeing execution of teams creating editorial content
  • Train, coach, upskill and support executives using diverse PR techniques
  • Keep abreast of developments and key contacts in the media landscape
  • Strategic planning and project management
  • Maintain excellent client relationships
  • New business generation through networking and ability to write strategic proposals
  • Champion measurement metrics and evaluation to evidence ROI and deliver client satisfaction
  • Stakeholder engagement and influencer programmes

As PR Account Director, you should have excellent media contacts and be well versed most marketing and research disciplines. Ideally you’ll have 6 years of senior PR/comms experience and you’ll be keen to work in a varied and fast-paced environment. Additionally, you’ll have:

  • Commercial acumen – experience in budgeting and financial accountability
  • Confidence in providing advice and support across multiple client accounts on effective PR strategies, integrated with digital marketing where appropriate
  • The ability to write new business proposals (and budgets) with full understanding of the private/public procurement process
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to build client and team relationships at all levels
  • Problem solving ability and track record of producing creative solutions
  •  Issues, crisis and reputation management experience

Digital Marketing Account Director

The Digital Account Director is a fully rounded marketing professional who has a thorough understanding of the full communications mix – including the social and digital media landscape – and who has the commercial acumen to grow business accounts. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to develop digital strategies and actions for clients, overseeing their execution by the team. You’ll be in tasked with ensuring that digital activity by the business dovetails perfectly with other marketing and PR actions.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Growing digital fee income and promoting 3x1’s digital services through organic growth and new revenue generation
  • People management: provide motivational leadership, overseeing execution of work by staff engaged in digital marketing, social media outreach, community engagement and web and online content curation
  • Train, coach, upskill and support executives using digital channels/platforms
  • Capitalising on ways to push digital innovation and provide clients/colleagues with insights on new online tools (free/paid-for), technologies and trends
  • Digital strategy planning and project management
  • Maintain excellent client relationships
  • Contribute to new business through networking and ability to write strategic proposals
  • Champion measurement metrics and evaluation to evidence ROI and deliver client satisfaction

Ideally – you’ll have 6 years of digital marketing experience and have a demonstrable track record of working in a fast-paced agency environment.  In addition, you’ll come armed with:

  • Commercial acumen and financial accountability
  • Confidence in providing advice and support across multiple client accounts on effective use of digital engagement platforms and social media content curation
  • Excellent understanding of digital, internet and search marketing
  • Confidence in web creation, content and development, UX, SEO, PPC, digital advertising, mobile, accessibility
  • The ability to provide senior counsel at meetings and take a lead role in presentations, new business pitches
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to build client and team relationships at all levels
  • Problem solving ability and track record of producing creative solutions
  • Hands-on experience of using content management systems and experience of work alongside developers, designers, community managers
